Victoria Beckham & Alexi Lubomirski for Vogue Germany

I am kind of growing to like Victoria Beckham , the more involved with the fashion world she becomes. Although I her personal style, she makes some unusual choices with art direction for her Victoria Beckham line, which I admire and she does seem to genuinely love fashion.

In a witty play on word’s, May’s issue of Vogue Germany takes Victoria Beckham on a gritty, but glamorous outing for photographer Alexi Lubomirski’s Queen of Posh. Regardless of her surroundings, Victoria turns up the ante as she poses in a luxe wardrobe pieced together by Christiane Arp.

Karl Lagerfeld For Vogue Germany 30th Aniversary

Editorials seem to be going very dark and broody at the minute and this shoot by Karl Lagerfeld for the 30th anniversary issue of Vogue Germany is no exception. 'Asta Nielsen' is inspired by the early 20th century film actress by the same name, and features models Freja Beha Erichsen and Baptiste Giabiconi in designs by Moschino, Dior and obviously a bit of Chanel. Overall it is amazing and really atmospheric, but I'm not loving the 4th and 8th pictures where the set looks like it has been covered up for painting.

MMonika Robl was born in Germany and now works in Paris. She studied art and design as well as photography, something a lot of my favourite photographers seem to have in common. She has worked for German Vogue, Italian Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and GQ among others. Her website seems to be down at the minute, but here is the link anyway. I love the bleached out skin in contrast with the other colours. It reminds me of Matthew Shave's work, but with a much cooler tones -gorgeous!

This gorgeous Editorial "Dolce Diva" for German Vogue September 2009 is full of elegance and mystery. Models Masha Novoselova, Luca Gadjus and Emma Mclaren really work well to create a beautiful and intriguing story and the fashion is just stunning.

Anja Rubik Dressed to Thrill For Vogue Germany September

The main editorial in this month’s Vogue Germany, stars Anja Rubik in “Dress to Thrill” by Alexi Lubomirski. The styling by Christiane Arp is beautifully luxurious and full of decadence, something I, personally love love love. In particular, the tights with the heart-shaped crotch caught my eye, how amazing are they? Tights need to be sexy and i think this pair do the job.

I am slightly worried by the random crackhead in the corner of some of the shots...I would say I have quite the penchant for a sexy tattooed gentleman (hello Josh Beech) however this guy looks a bit like he needs a good meal and has just snuck in to steal whats left of Anja's room service.
