Unusual Art Mediums On My Modern Metropolis

I just saw this great post on My Modern Metropolis about ordinary things being turned into extraordinary art. The post features work by Juan Francisco Casas and Pantone who we have previously had on this blog, but also loads of other artist like Yuken Teruya who carves into paper bags and transforms them into miniature trees and others who work with found objects. These blue and white pictures may look like a load of 16 year old's cam-whorey-Myspace pictures, but in actual fact they have all been painstakingly handrawn with a 14p ball point pen.

Some of these pictures are up to 10ft tall! This guy must have hella-cramp!

The pictures drawn by Spanish born, Juan Francisco Casas who recently sold one for £3,750 and they really do look just like photos close up.
