Karl Lagerfeld’s 'The Tale of a Fairy' Cruise 2012 Film

Karl Lagerfeld makes a short film “The Tale Of A Fairy” about the sort of crazy old ladies that are rich enough to buy stuff from his Chanel Cruise 2012 Line.

With some dubious acting from Amanda Harlech, Kristen McMenamy, Freja Beha, Bianca Balti, Baptiste Giabiconi, Brad Koening, Jake Davies, Mark Vanderloo, Oriol Elcacho, Sebastien Jondeau, Seth Kuhlmann and Anna Mouglalis, the film is beautifully shot and provides a glimpse into the world of the mega rich.

Lara Stone works big hair and a big dress for the latest issue of W magazine shit by Craig McDean and styled by Alex White in pieces by Gaultier, Armani Prive, Givenchy, Chanel, Dior, Francesco Scognamiglio, Atelier Versace, Valentino and Oscar de la Renta.

The colours and lighting are gorgeous and the hair is amazing but it does seem a bit like hairstylist Eugene Souleiman was channeling J-Lo at The Oscars in 2002 in the sixth photo down. Not a great look.

Media darling and 'next big thing' Mila Kunis is a long way from 'That 70's Show' in this shoot for W Magazine's March 2011 issue.

Black Swan actress was photographed by Craig Mcdean and styled Chanel, Nina Ricci, Marchesa and Lanvin by Alex White.

I think she looks particularly beautiful with her hair pulled back, surrounded by feathers, letting her gorgeous eyes do the talking.

Karl Lagerfeld For Vogue Germany 30th Aniversary

Editorials seem to be going very dark and broody at the minute and this shoot by Karl Lagerfeld for the 30th anniversary issue of Vogue Germany is no exception. 'Asta Nielsen' is inspired by the early 20th century film actress by the same name, and features models Freja Beha Erichsen and Baptiste Giabiconi in designs by Moschino, Dior and obviously a bit of Chanel. Overall it is amazing and really atmospheric, but I'm not loving the 4th and 8th pictures where the set looks like it has been covered up for painting.

Natalia Vodianova Goes 'Into The Woods' For Mert & Marcus & American Vogue

This is gorgeous!! I love fairytale style stuff and this Red Riding Hood inspired shoot called 'Into the Woods' for American Vogue is just fantastical. The story, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and starring beautiful Russian Doll Natalia Vodianova, is styled by Grace Coddington and full of beautiful ruby tones from Chanel, Moschino and Prada.

Lily Allen For Chanel Pics Released

Since Lily Allen was chosen as the latest 'face' of Chanel she has rarely been seen without at least one Chanel piece on her at any given time.
The pictures have finally been released for the upcoming Chanel Coco Cocoon range which she is fronting and I am not loving them.

I think they were probably trying to go for something chic and monochrome but in my opinion all the stylist has succeeded at is making the bags look like binliners. I love Lily Allen because I am obsessed with everything celebrity and she is hot and chats a lot of shit, but here it just isn't working for me. The pictures are too samey and come off as cheesy rather than carefree...maybe when the rest are released I will change my mind.

The photos were taken by Chanel designer Karl Lagerfield himself, but I much prefer the slightly more avant garde stuff he did with Emma Watson for Crash magazine.
