I absolutely love everything about this video campaign from Prada for their Spring/Summer 2011 collection.

A huge amount of it has to do with the fact I am a big fan of Ratatat and I feel the song choice 'Mirando' perfectly accompanies the jaunty movements created by the campaign models (Kinga Rajzak, Zuzanna Bijoch, Arizona Muse, Tati Cotliar & Mariacarla Boscono) which are further enhanced through brilliant editing techniques.

Overall this video conveys a huge amount of personality and fun for me and I had to watch it about three times one after the other.

Amazing Use of Clothes Pegs by Ginno Alducente & Furne One for Amato Haute Couture

Ok so they might not be clothes pegs, but I thought they were at first glance.

I'm also not a huge fan of the done to death 'scary dolls', but everything else about this shoot for Amato Haute Couture -with beautiful make up and stunningly unique styling from Ginno Alducente and Furne One, works perfectly within the subtle colour palette to achieve a really stand out editorial.

Rochambeau Autumn/Winter 09 Lookbook

Following on from New York based label Rochambeau's cannibalizing metallic book comes the day glow book. The design is cool I guess but I'm not featuring it because of the graphics. But because the lookbook inspired by 'the intricate dialogue between defence and self' is in fact coated in a rusting agent with liquid and metal foils, that eat into the book until it self-destructs. Ummmm, a book that only last the season and then eats itself...how cool is that?
