Anatoly Beloshchin - Photographer

Underwater photographer Anatoly Beloshchin has been diving since he was 12. He takes photos of the sort of scenery most people could only imagine; desolate deep-sea scenes, tinged with iridescent blues, golds and greens.

Some of the textures created by the rocks are absolutely incredible, they remind me of the sort of secret, underwater lairs bad guys would have in spy films.

PES - Stop Motion - The Deep

I love how weird and creepy this short stop-motion film 'The Deep' by PES (check out his site for more brilliance) is. The animated underwater movement is so perfectly timed you almost forget its just a load of adjustable spanners.
