Ricardo Fumanal - Illustration

Ricardo Fumanal from Madrid, Spain has some obvious skills with a pencil. Taking inspiration from fashion magazines, he manages to re-create flawless skin, fabric and hair textures with the most subtle and controlled shading. The magazine covers are from a while ago, but he has recently updated his blog with more resplendent works and here they are.

Carole Wilmet - Illustration

Carole Wilmet is a Belgian illustrator and graphic designer based in Liege and Luxembourg. She studied graphic design and started work as a freelance illustrator in 2010.

She takes her inspiration from everyday life and people around her, nature, the fashion industry and old photographs.

Daniel Egneus - Illustrator

The work of watercolour illustrator Daniel Egneus is so imaginative. His beautiful female/animal hybrids are my favourite pieces; anyone who can make someone look elegant while wearing a giant grab hat has to have some serious talent.

Born in 1972 in Sweden, Daniel has spent 20 years all over Europe in Prague, London, Berlin, Bologna and Rome, he now works in Milan.

Dalton - Artist

Artist Dalton, who is originally from Brazil, but now works as a carpenter in Connecticut, USA, has been carving art into the tips of pencils for about 25 years.

I first saw his work about a year ago when a friend of mine posted a jpeg on Facebook, but the image had no title and I had no idea who it was by. Then today I found a link to his work and so decided to share it with you all.

Dalton creates his pieces by hand, with only a razor blade, a sewing needle and sculpting knife and without the use of a magnifying glass.

I particularly like his 'cemetery collection' -a Styrofoam display case which house all of his broken designs on pinheads.
