Eeeeeeeeee, I've got some BIG love for the superstyling from Mile Supakasem in this fashion story for jewellery makers (L'ile aux Ashby). Featuring original designs by Rayson Tan, the photos are by Surachai Saengsuwan.

Kerry Howell - Jewelry Design

London based jewellery designer Kerry Howell created a series of 5 striking necklaces for her graduate collection, nothing strange about that apart from these necklaces are made from HUMAN HAIR.

Each piece looking like a delicate strip of lace, the jewelry takes its inspiration from Damask wallpaper patterns and was expertly cut and woven using broken saw blades, with each necklace taking upto 60 hours to produce.

Aptly named 'Attraction/Aversion', the collection is designed to explore how people can feel contrasting emotions simultaneously. Whilst on the body, we adore our hair and spend a lot of time and money looking after it, but once it leaves our head we're suddenly revolted. Kerry's aim was to see if she could make discarded hair attractive once more.

Just make sure you take it off before you get in the bath, because you'd have a job getting that out of the plug-hole.

I am totally in love with the new Raw Jewelry range from CosaFina which mixes modern precious metal jewelry peppered with gorgeous, glittery, gemstones.

Margaux Lange - Dead Barbie Jewelry

I have been watching loads of Dexter recently so maybe that is why I was drawn to this chopped up Barbie jewelry from US artist Margaux Lange as is remeniscent of some of the plotlines. That and it is AWESOME! I went a bit OTT with the pictures of her 'Plastic Body Series' which utilizes salvaged Barbie doll parts in combination with sterling silver and pigmented resins, but there is a lot more to see on her website.

Sea Creatures by Anoush Abrar & Aimée Hoving

Everything in this shoot from Anoush Abrar & Aimée Hoving entitled 'Sea Creatures' is working together to create and amazing and thought provoking editorial. The colours are simply stunning and the attention to detail in the hair and make up really works with the styling to create beautiful and believable looks.

Bree Dentice - Illustrator

Bree Dentice needs to draw more. She is already a talented jewellery designer aka Chasing Rabbit, but her illustrations are also really, really good. Not only is she technically very skilled, but her unusual concepts and perfect composition make her work stand out from an internet world full of pencil line illustrators. I can't wait to see what she produces next for her sadly tiny portfolio.

Paper Rings From Tithi Kutchamuch and Nutre Arayavanish

Just when I haven't found any good paper art for ages, I suddenly have two paper posts in one day. This second one is from London based designers Tithi Kutchamuch and Nutre Arayavanish, who have designed this 'all year' paper ring set.

The range consists of 12 fold-out paper ring designs which are laser-cut and engraved from 200g/m2 textured white paper for the owner to assemble each month, throughout the whole year.

The floral designs represent a different flower for each birth month (mine is in January so I would get a Carnation). It is quite a nice idea for a present, but they wouldn't last five minutes on my grubby fingers.

Flair Magazine Jewelry Spread

I saw this spread from Flair Magazine photographed by Alix Malka and was immediately reminded of the art direction in Sunday Times Style Magazine a few years ago. I love the over saturation and winning combination of lips, eyes and jewels! I like the Doom style helmet in the top one too.
