Tim Walker & Tim Burton For Harper's Bazaar October 2009

Two of my favourite Tims come together for this Halloween spread in the latest issue of American Harper's Bazaar.

The editorial shot by Tim Walker celebrates Tim Burton’s long and varied career in film making with references to some of his most famous characters, Edward Scissorhands, Jack Skellington and Winona Rider In Beetlejuice.

The shoot was styled by Jacob K, with models Malgosia Bela, Sophie Srej and Evelina Mambetova.

How exciting, I love Johnny Depp but I'm still not sure how I feel about The Mad Hatter look. Everything else looks amazing, I never doubted Tim honest.

New Alice In Wonderland Pics

Alice in Wonderland is one of my absolute favourite books and films EVER. Certainly my favourite Disney film. So when I heard there was a remake being done by Tim Burton of all people I nearly wet my pants.

Then the original promo shots were released (updated version here) and I was kinda disappointed. But these new shots have really made me excited again. The sets look super-amazing...like...magical and brilliant and fairytale and dreamlike and everything Alice in Wonderland should be and Tim Burton is famous for.
I can not wait.

Alice in Wonderland First Pics

This is a film I have been excited about for TOO LONG. I love Tim Burton, I love Alice in Wonderland, so I assumed nothing could go wrong and that this remake would slot perfectly into my list of favourite films.

But then I saw these promo shot for the charecters played by Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska as Alice, and I was kinda like 'meh'.

Maybe I was expecting too much, but I thought the characters would be more sinister in a less obvious, kids-party-clown type way.

I still think they should have cast Lindsay Lohan as Alice like was rumoured. I know I am the only one but we can agree to disagree...
