SHOWstudio have recently launched a competition as part of their upcoming Fashion Revolution exhibition, challenging viewers to create their own bespoke masterpiece from their designer pattern archive.
Entrants must download one of SHOWstudio's seven exclusive garment patterns from either Junya Watanabe, Alexander McQueen, Maison Martin Margiela, Yohji Yamamoto, Antony Price, John Galliano, or Gareth Pugh and then rework it into something unique.
Winners will be selected by a panel including Nick Knight, Alistair O'Neill and Professor Penny Martin and their work will be displayed alongside over twenty SHOWstudio projects, including original garments from Comme des Garçons, John Galliano and Nicolas Ghesquière of Balenciaga as part of SHOWstudio: Fashion Revolution at Somerset .
The deadline has also been extended to the 31 August 2009 . More details here.
